It successfully catches rice, peas, coffee grinds, potatoes and vegetable peelings, sand, plaster of Paris, soil, etc. It is ideally suited to be used in conjunction with all types of under sink greasetraps.

What is a Rhino NHD filter?

The NHD (Nylon High-Density) filter is used with the Rhino interceptor to trap finer food particles, such as soil from potatoes, sand, plaster of Paris, etc. and will eliminate costly blockages and bad odours.

How often does the filter need to be changed?

Every kitchen is different; some are busier than others. However, most restaurants and cafes will replace the filter a few times per month. Large hotels and event companies replace the filter a few times per week.

How do you change the filter?

Replacing the filter is simple and only takes a few seconds. No tools or training are required.

  1. Remove the front visor panel.
  2. Unscrew the old filter and dispose in food bin.
  3. Attach new filter. Replace the front visor panel.
